Beginning Band

Beginning Band is our entry-level band for students wanting to learn how to play an instrument. You do not need any prior musical experience to be a part of the beginning band. While most members of our beginning band are 6th graders, 7th and 8th grade beginners are more than welcome! In beginning band, we spend the entire year learning how to read music and play the instrument. Beginning band gives three concerts throughout the year (Fall, Winter, and Spring), and competes in a beginning band contest in May.
