Mrs. Allen is honored to have spent the last 19 years with her Creekwood family. Under her direction, the Creekwood Bands have earned consistent UIL Sweepstakes awards, Best in Class at Choice Music Festivals, numerous first place trophies for Beginning Band at Spring Music Festivals as well as Gatorfest Music Festivals. With the help and guidance of her amazing colleagues, her band students have also been chosen to perform at the Texas Music Educators Associations Conference in 2009 as the Texas State Honor Full Orchestra as well as the 2017 Midwest Clinic as an official performing percussion ensemble. Originally from Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Allen is a graduate of Lake Highlands High School where she studied with a list of amazing directors including Malcolm Helm and Marion West. After graduating from Lake Highlands, Mrs. Allen attended Baylor University where her principal teachers were Richard Shanley and Michael Haithcock. At Baylor, she was a member of both the Golden Wave Marching Band and the Baylor Wind Ensemble. She began her career teaching elementary music in New Caney ISD in 1996, then moved to Humble ISD in 2005. She is very proud to have been selected as Teacher of the Year in both New Caney ISD in 1997 and Humble ISD in 2015.
Mrs. Allen is grateful for the mentorship, teaching, and guidance of Eddie Green, Denis Kidwell, and Gloria Ramirez. She has served as the Region 33 Middle School Bands Coordinator for TMEA since 2008 and her professional memberships include Phi Beta Mu, TMAA, TMEA, and TBA. Missy lives in Kingwood, Texas with her husband Mel, her youngest daughter, Lauren, and their Boston terrier, Peanut. At Creekwood Middle School, Mrs. Allen teaches all of the beginning woodwind classes, assists Mr. Davis with Symphonic Band, and directs the Honors Band. Mrs. Allen will be retiring this May and looks forward to seeing her former students at the CMS Band "Through the Years" Celebration later this Spring!

Adam Davis began his teaching career in 2017, and has been teaching at Creekwood Middle School for 6 years. At CMS, Mr. Davis conducts the Symphonic Band, assists with Honors band, and teaches the Beginning Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone/Euphonium, and Percussion classes.
Mr. Davis Graduated from the University of Houston, Moores School of Music, in May of 2017 with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education. While at U of H, Mr. Davis performed in multiple ensembles including Symphonic Band, Symphonic Winds, Opera Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, and the Spirit of Houston Marching Band. He studied French Horn with Robert Johnson and Gavin Reed. Mr. Davis is also a member of the Texas Music Educators Association, as well as the Texas Bandmasters Association.
